Senior QA Automation Engineer

Requirements

• Minimum experience of 5 years developing as a testing analyst or QA automation
• Minimum experience of 2 years automating tests using tools like Selenium Webdriver, RestAssured, or PlayWright
• Experience in testing web applications
• Programming knowledge (preferably Java, Kotlin, or Javascript)
• Experience with REST APIs
• Proficiency in SQL databases (preferably MySql)
• Version control repository (GIT) management
• Experience with cloud-native services (GCP/AWS)
• Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery environment
• Advanced Level of English
• Bring a culture of innovation, ideas, and continuous improvement
• Desire to learn new technologies/languages
• Experience automating API tests with tools like Postman and Datadog

Responsibilities

• Work directly with our development team and product managers
• Create automated API tests in Datadog
• Create UI tests in Datadog (point and click)
• Manage the testing process from planning to production release, with guidance and assistant from the QA Lead
• Execute automated testing on mobile devices with Browserstack (plus)
• Documenting test cases, test results, and metrics as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related fields
• Developer background
• Performance Testing with tools like JMeter o Datadog
• Experience automating UI with recording tools (aka. point and click)
• Monitoring and analyzing data with tools like Datadog and Giraffe
• 1+ years of experience testing iOS and Android native apps with tools like Browserstack/Lambdatest
• QA Methodologies
• Continuous integration processes (Jenkins, Git Actions, GitLab CI, etc.)
• Mobile application testing
• Appium tool for mobile application automation
• Agile methodologies (SCRUM, XP)
