Senior QA Engineer

Requirements

• Proven experience in Quality Assurance within capital markets, trading platforms, or financial services applications
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in QA and testing within the financial or capital markets domain
• Strong proficiency in writing and executing automated and manual tests for complex financial systems
• In-depth understanding of software development lifecycle, with a focus on Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues across multiple systems
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with business stakeholders, developers, and other teams
• Proven experience in risk-based testing and prioritizing tests based on business needs and regulatory requirements
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, meeting deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards

Responsibilities

• Lead quality assurance processes for capital market systems, ensuring they meet the highest standards of functionality, performance, and security
• Design and execute detailed test plans, cases, and scripts to verify the accuracy and efficiency of new software releases and product enhancements in capital market applications
• Collaborate closely with development teams, business analysts, and product owners to ensure the QA process integrates seamlessly into the software development lifecycle
• Manage test environments, ensuring proper setup, maintenance, and execution of tests in a secure and regulated environment
• Provide mentorship to junior QA engineers, guiding them through best practices, processes, and methodologies within the capital markets domain
• Conduct performance, stress, and regression testing on trading, risk management, and financial transaction systems
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and financial standards through thorough QA testing
