Senior QA Engineer

Requirements

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Math, or equivalent
• Have relevant industry experience as a Senior QA Engineer (5+ years), industry experience a plus
• Be familiar with software testing methodologies, tools, and approaches in the Enterprise software industry
• Have experience writing test cases/test scenarios that cover both sanity and in-depth testing, including, but not limited to, boundary, negative, compatibility, and concurrency tests
• Be familiar with automation testing, experienced in at least one programming language, Python preferred
• Possess good knowledge of relational databases, intermediate or advanced fluency reading, and writing SQL statements
• Possess good knowledge of Linux and script programming for test tools
• Possess good knowledge of Web service
• Have good verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrate a strong sense of teamwork and collaboration with others
• Be able to speak and write in Mandarin fluently
• Be proficient in English reading and writing skills

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for functional testing on the web, Enterprise WeChat, and iOS app
• Work closely with product managers and developers within the scrum team to ensure the product delivery as scheduled
• Create test plans, test cases/scripts, test data, etc., according to software requirements and design documents
• Allocate defects and analyze associated risks, push problem-solving, and verify outcomes
• Automate new features for better regression coverage and analyze automation results
