Senior QA Engineer

Summary

This role involves functional testing across various platforms (web, WeChat, WeCom, iOS), collaborating with product and development teams, creating comprehensive test plans and cases, and automating testing processes. Requirements

• Have a Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Math, or equivalent
• Have relevant industry experience: Senior QA Engineer (5+ years), QA Engineer (2+ years)
• Be familiar with software testing methodologies, tools, and approaches in the Enterprise software industry
• Have experience in writing test cases/test scenarios that cover both sanity and in-depth testing, including but not limited to boundary, negative, compatibility, and concurrency tests
• Be familiar with automation testing, experienced in at least one programming language, Python preferred
• Have good knowledge of relational databases, intermediate or advanced fluency in reading and writing SQL statements
• Have good knowledge of Linux, script programming for test tools
• Have good knowledge of Web service
• Have good verbal and written communication skills
• Have a strong sense of teamwork and collaboration with others
• Be able to speak and write in Mandarin fluently
• Be proficient in English reading and writing skills

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for functional testing on the web, WeChat, WeCom, and iOS app
• Work closely with product managers and developers within the scrum team to ensure the product delivery as scheduled
• Create test plan, test cases/scripts, test data, etc., according to software requirements and design documents
• Allocate defects and analyze associated risks, push problem-solving, and verify outcomes
• Automate new features for better regression coverage, analyze automation results
