Senior QA Engineer in Cyprus

Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Senior QA Engineer to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for conducting manual testing of backend systems, mobile applications, and web applications to ensure product quality. They should have a strong understanding of software testing methodologies and possess excellent analytical skills. The ideal candidate will collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and contribute to the improvement of software quality.

Requirements

• 5+ years of proven experience as a QA Engineer, with a focus on manual testing
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, techniques, and best practices
• Proficiency in backend testing, including API testing, database testing, and server-side validation
• Experience in testing mobile applications (Android and/or iOS) across multiple devices and platforms
• Experience in cross-platform and cross-browser testing of web applications and utilizing testing tools
• Familiarity with bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla) and test management tools
• Ability to understand software requirements and translate them into comprehensive test plans and test cases

Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing of backend systems, mobile and web applications to identify bugs, defects, and usability issues
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on project requirements and specifications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and designers, to understand software requirements and contribute to the improvement of software quality

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies is a plus
