Senior Quality Assurance Analyst

Summary

Join Reitmans (Canada) Limited as a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst and oversee all QA activities within projects. You will review system requirements, functional specifications, and design documents, creating test artifacts and ensuring the product meets quality criteria. Lead and direct the QA team, define QA policies, and identify testing strategies. Execute test plans and review requirements specifications. This role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, 10+ years in QA, and 5+ years in software testing. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, relevant technical diploma, or equivalent experience in software development
• 10 years in Quality Assurance (QA)
• 5+ years in software testing
• Strong knowledge of SQL queries and relational databases
• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle
• Expertise in QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel)
• Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability

Responsibilities

• Lead & direct all the efforts of QA team
• Create Test artifacts (Test strategy, Test Plan, Test Scenarios, Test Cases and Test Closure)
• Define, implement and enforce departmental QA policies, guidelines, standards and procedures
• Identifies the testing strategy for the project, testing scope and co-ordinates with the teams for QA environment needs and readiness
• Participate in internal reviews of test cases
• Execute test plans, test cases and scripts
• Review requirements specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
