Senior Quality Engineer

Summary

The job is for a Senior QA Automation Engineer at Apply Digital, a global digital transformation partner. The role involves validating applications across various platforms and interfaces, with a preference for candidates based in Spain. The candidate should have relevant experience, understanding of software QA methodologies, CI/CD principles, Agile/Scrum development principles, and excellent communication skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent
• 5+ years of experience in a similar role
• Deep understanding of software QA methodologies, best practices, tools, and processes
• Extensive experience with using Javascript, or a similar scripting language
• Experience creating and maintaining test automation scripts (preferably with Cypress, Playwright, Webdriver.io and/or Appium using Javascript)
• Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and incorporating QA best practices into CI/CD pipelines
• Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum development principles
• Experience providing mentorship to other team members on QA best practices and methodologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Self-driven and take ownership of tasks from beginning to completion
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects simultaneously within a dynamic, fast-paced environment
