Senior React Native Developer

Summary

Job Description: A remote position for an experienced React Native developer to design, develop, and maintain mobile applications at Remotebase, a remote work community platform. The role requires leadership, collaboration, performance optimization, innovation, testing, and deployment skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of professional experience in mobile development, with a significant portion in React Native

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile applications using React Native
• Implement robust and scalable code that meets the highest industry standards
• Provide technical leadership and mentor junior developers
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality products
• Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings, contributing to planning, estimation, and delivery
• Optimize application performance for maximum speed and scalability
• Debug and resolve performance issues and bugs
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies
• Advocate for and implement new technologies and practices that enhance the development process
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality
• Manage deployments to the App Store and Google Play

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CI/CD tools and processes
• Knowledge of mobile security best practices
• Experience with other mobile frameworks or languages (e.g., Swift, Kotlin)
