Senior Retail Strategy & Ops Associate

Summary

Join Salsify's Network team and make an impact as a Network Strategy and Operations Analyst. You will build reporting dashboards, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and uncover data-driven insights to support network growth. The ideal candidate is a structured thinker, outcome-oriented, evidence-guided, curious, resourceful, proactively collaborative, and agile. This role requires 2+ years of analytical experience, a Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, SQL proficiency, Excel/Google Sheets skills, and strong communication abilities. Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in an analytical role
• Bachelor’s degree in an analytic / quantitative field such as business, economics, finance, or engineering - or have sufficient experience and knowledge required for the role
• Proficient in SQL (ability to write queries to extract data), or have demonstrated aptitude in similar database extraction language(s)
• Skilled in Excel and/or Google Sheets, including formulas, functions, basic modeling, and simple data visualization
• Familiarity with reporting dashboards: how to build & maintain them, determine when they are needed, and operationalize them
• Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving, including the ability to break down a problem, logically structure thoughts, identify key questions, challenge assumptions, and recommend solutions
• Strong written and verbal communication skills. Able to synthesize data and present findings concisely

Responsibilities

• Build out reporting dashboards to analyze key metrics and provide valuable insights for use with external customers and internal cross-functional teams
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize data needs
• Uncover data-driven insights and create modeling to support long-term network growth strategies
