Senior RoR Developer

Summary

Join Gett’s Billing team, a close-knit group of 7 engineers, to design, build, and scale critical billing systems serving B2B, B2C, drivers, and fleets. You will work closely with architects, own the full development lifecycle, and contribute to a high-performance, stable, and scalable infrastructure using Ruby on Rails and Go. The role involves owning end-to-end development, building robust backend solutions, ensuring system reliability, improving code quality, and collaborating on system architecture and deployment. Requirements

• 6+ years of backend development experience with Ruby on Rails
• Strong knowledge of MySQL/PostgreSQL and NoSQL (Redis, MongoDB)
• Proven experience building SaaS or microservices-based systems
• Skilled in writing clean, testable RESTful APIs
• Familiar with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/others)
• Performance tuning and optimization for high-load environments

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end development from design to production
• Built robust, scalable backend solutions with RoR and Go
• Ensure system reliability in production with a dedicated support team
• Improve code quality, performance, and maintainability
• Collaborate with architects and DevOps on system architecture and deployment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing in Golang
• Experience in optimizing performance in relational databases
• Experience with gRPC/protobuf
• Experience solving high-load problems
• Experience with concurrent applications
