Requirements

  • Minimum of 5+ years experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or Solutions Consultant for B2B SaaS solutions
  • Positive, team player mentality with strong time management, organization, and presentation skills
  • Deep technical aptitude and curiosity for learning new technologies in a fast-paced environment
  • Creative and open approach to problem solving and partnering with internal teams to drive whatโ€™s best for the customer and for Salsify
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively in written responses to emails, customer requirements, and formal RFPs
  • Experience with solutions that involve cross-departmental stakeholders and require customerโ€™s change in process

Responsibilities

  • Support the Sales team with activities required to secure the technical win and deliver business value - including participating in discovery sessions, developing solutions, leading product demonstrations and architecture reviews, and driving deal strategy
  • Identify and present solutions that address functional and technical requirements to organizations of all industries and sizes
  • Maintain technical knowledge of Salsifyโ€™s product offerings and customer success stories in order to tie functionality back to desired business outcomes
  • Build great relationships and trust with prospects and customers by providing industry thought leadership and expertise
  • Work collaboratively with the Sales Engineering team and cross-functional teams: With Product to advocate for customer needs and influence product roadmap
  • Work collaboratively with the Sales Engineering team and cross-functional teams: With Customer Success to set customers up for ongoing adoption and growth
  • Work collaboratively with the Sales Engineering team and cross-functional teams: With Professional Services to understand and prioritize services scope
  • Work collaboratively with the Sales Engineering team and cross-functional teams: With Marketing to be the face of product messaging and provide market feedback

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with PIM, DAM, and/or Commerce solutions preferred but not required
  • Proficiency in French preferred but not required
  • Ability and willingness for 25-30% travel
