Join Brightwell as a Senior Sales Executive and scale up our cross-border payments business with financial institutions. We seek a seasoned sales professional with a deep understanding of the financial institution sales lifecycle and a proven ability to exceed revenue targets. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and relationship-building skills and a passion for delivering tailored solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelorโs degree in business, marketing, or related field
- 5+ years of business development experience in payments, preferably within a bank
- 5+ years of cross border payments experience โ either in remittances or funds transfer
- Experience working successfully using a sales methodology (Challenger, NEAT, Sandler, etc.) and the ability to speak to your results
- Demonstrated ability to sell structured deals and manage complex negotiations
- Ability to analyze sales data, market trends, and customer insights
- Proven pipeline management and closing skills with the ability to meet or exceed sales targets
- Excellent analytical skills and strategic thinking โ youโre strong on both IQ and EQ, as adept at reading data for insights as you are at reading clients for feedback
- Established comfort level in working with all levels of management, including C-suite
- Travel up to 30%
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective sales plans to target financial institutions
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract execution
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, and implementation teams to ensure alignment and success
- Remain current on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies
- Represent Brightwell at industry events and conferences
- Deliver agreed-upon new clients and contract renewals each year
- Exhibit patience with long sales cycles and continue to nurture the clients throughout this process
