Requirements

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in business, marketing, or related field
  • 5+ years of business development experience in payments, preferably within a bank
  • 5+ years of cross border payments experience โ€“ either in remittances or funds transfer
  • Experience working successfully using a sales methodology (Challenger, NEAT, Sandler, etc.) and the ability to speak to your results
  • Demonstrated ability to sell structured deals and manage complex negotiations
  • Ability to analyze sales data, market trends, and customer insights
  • Proven pipeline management and closing skills with the ability to meet or exceed sales targets
  • Excellent analytical skills and strategic thinking โ€“ youโ€™re strong on both IQ and EQ, as adept at reading data for insights as you are at reading clients for feedback
  • Established comfort level in working with all levels of management, including C-suite
  • Travel up to 30%

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective sales plans to target financial institutions
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract execution
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, and implementation teams to ensure alignment and success
  • Remain current on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies
  • Represent Brightwell at industry events and conferences
  • Deliver agreed-upon new clients and contract renewals each year
  • Exhibit patience with long sales cycles and continue to nurture the clients throughout this process
