Summary

Join Fastly as a Sr. Sales Strategy & Operations Lead and partner with North America Sales leadership to drive revenue growth and process improvements. You will be a key contributor to the Sales Strategy & Operations team, defining sales team strategy and operations, providing data-driven recommendations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve complex business challenges. This role requires leading the development of regional sales operations strategy, driving the annual fiscal planning cycle, providing direction to sales leadership on process improvements, developing key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards, and leading cross-functional teams to solve strategic operational challenges. The ideal candidate possesses 8+ years of combined operations or technology business experience, including 5+ years in a sales operations role, and strong analytical and presentation skills. The position offers a hybrid or remote work location and a competitive salary and benefits package.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of combined operations or technology business experience
  • 5+ years specifically in a sales operations role
  • Knowledge of sales coverage and sales compensation that drive sales results
  • Excellent analytical, reporting, data manipulation, dashboard creation, and business intelligence skills with ability to deliver executive-ready presentations of their findings
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce, Clari, and others sales tools including ZoomInfo, Outreach
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and execute regional projects, develop and interpret analytics, and interact effectively across all levels of a large multinational organization
  • Proven ability to network and build strong relationships with peers and senior leaders

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for leading the development of regional Sales operations strategy, requires an in-depth understanding of the market and critical evaluation of priorities and execution of operational plans
  • Act in partnership with senior Sales leadership and Sr. Director of Sales Strategy and Operations, in driving the annual fiscal planning cycle for the North America region. This includes designing our Go To Market Strategy and performing territory analysis & quota assignments
  • Provides direction to Sales leadership to discover opportunities for process and methodology improvements while helping them run their business
  • Lead the development of metrics, KPIs, analytics and dashboards to provide performance measurement
  • Lead cross-functional teams that identify and solve complex and strategic operational business challenges

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Looker and other dashboard tools
  • Previous management experience, leading a virtual or direct-reporting team
