Summary

Insuranceopedia is seeking a Senior SEO Specialist with at least 5 years of experience to join their team. Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in SEO, with a proven track record of executing successful strategies and delivering measurable results
  • Strong technical SEO skills with the ability to perform detailed audits
  • Advanced proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs
  • Strong analytical abilities to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions. Ability to use insights to refine and improve SEO strategies
  • Experience in optimising content for SEO, including on-page elements, keyword usage, and content structure. Strong writing and editing skills are a plus
  • Proven experience in developing and executing successful link-building campaigns. Strong outreach skills and ability to build relationships with industry influencers
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex SEO concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • A self-starter who thrives in a hands-on role. Ability to take ownership of projects, work independently, and drive results without the need for a support team
  • Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring that all SEO activities are executed to the highest standard

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies to drive organic traffic, improve search engine rankings, and achieve the company’s growth objectives
  • Conduct technical SEO audits and work with a developer to implement changes to improve site speed, mobile-friendliness, crawlability, and overall site performance
  • Perform in-depth keyword research to identify high-impact opportunities
  • Optimise on-page elements, including meta tags, headers, URLs, and content, to improve search visibility
  • Collaborate with freelancers to ensure all content is SEO-friendly, relevant, and engaging
  • Develop and execute Digital PR campaigns that enhance domain authority and search rankings
  • Monitor and analyse SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console and Ahrefs. Provide regular reports on key metrics such as organic traffic, keyword rankings, and conversion rates
  • Stay updated on the latest SEO trends, algorithm changes, and best practices. Adjust strategies proactively to maintain and improve search engine performance
  • Execute all SEO tasks personally, from strategy development to hands-on implementation
  • Regularly audit the website and SEO practices to identify areas for improvement and implement changes that drive continuous growth
