Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Summary

Requirements

• Experience with at least one of the following programming languages: Go, Java, or Python
• Proficiency in scripting and automation tasks
• Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud services (focus on networking, compute, and storage services)
• Familiarity with cloud best practices, including cost optimization, security, and scalability
• Experience with Terraform for infrastructure automation and provisioning
• Experience with Docker for containerized applications
• Experience or basic working knowledge of Kubernetes (deployment, service management, scaling)
• Basic understanding of crafting targeted service and infrastructure-level observability (logs, metrics, tracing)
• Ability to perform incident response and management, including debugging, root cause analysis, and post-mortems on a weekly rotation

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Prometheus and Grafana for setting up metrics, alerts, and dashboards
• Experience with big data projects or data pipelines
• Basic knowledge of Apache Kafka for real-time data streaming
• Familiarity with managing databases in AWS RDS or other relational databases
• Exposure to NoSQL databases
• Basic knowledge of Redis or Memcached for caching
• Familiarity with Docker-based CI/CD systems (e.g., Concourse, Jenkins)
