Requirements
- Proficiency with Linux command line, shell environments (bash, zsh, fish), system administration (permissions, RBAC, systems)
- At least 1 year of experience with Kubernetes or equivalent container orchestration systems
- Experience with modern CI/CD platforms (GitLab, GitHub Actions, Argo, or similar)
- Advanced Git operations (merging, conflict resolution, cherry-picking)
- Working knowledge of GCP, AWS, or Azure
- DNS configuration, CIDR notation, firewall management, network diagnostics (curl, nmap)
- Strong work ethic for remote collaboration
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Problem-solving mindset with openness to emerging technologies
- Ability to mentor and collaborate effectively with team members
- Must be authorized to work in the United States; Provision IAM does not sponsor work visas
- Must be highly proficient in written and spoken English
- All persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and complete the necessary employment eligibility verification form upon hire
Responsibilities
- Serve as the first responder for system and infrastructure issues
- Collaborate daily with development teams to support various software development lifecycles
- Communicate directly with clients to provide support and guidance
- Assist with security testing and compliance
- Participate in pair programming, knowledge sharing, and mentorship
- Provide SRE support for internal systems and client contracts
Preferred Qualifications
- Kubernetes administration (manifest creation, operations)
- Argo CD, GitLab CI/CD, and runners
- Programming experience (Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java)
- Windows system administration and database operations
