Site Reliability Engineer - Senior Level

Requirements

• Proficiency with Linux command line, shell environments (bash, zsh, fish), system administration (permissions, RBAC, systems)
• At least 1 year of experience with Kubernetes or equivalent container orchestration systems
• Experience with modern CI/CD platforms (GitLab, GitHub Actions, Argo, or similar)
• Advanced Git operations (merging, conflict resolution, cherry-picking)
• Working knowledge of GCP, AWS, or Azure
• DNS configuration, CIDR notation, firewall management, network diagnostics (curl, nmap)
• Strong work ethic for remote collaboration
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Problem-solving mindset with openness to emerging technologies
• Ability to mentor and collaborate effectively with team members
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; Provision IAM does not sponsor work visas
• Must be highly proficient in written and spoken English
• All persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and complete the necessary employment eligibility verification form upon hire

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first responder for system and infrastructure issues
• Collaborate daily with development teams to support various software development lifecycles
• Communicate directly with clients to provide support and guidance
• Assist with security testing and compliance
• Participate in pair programming, knowledge sharing, and mentorship
• Provide SRE support for internal systems and client contracts

Preferred Qualifications

• Kubernetes administration (manifest creation, operations)
• Argo CD, GitLab CI/CD, and runners
• Programming experience (Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java)
• Windows system administration and database operations
