Summary

Join DEPTยฎ as a Social Media Analyst and steer brands towards performance and innovation. You will develop reporting frameworks, distill complex datasets into insights, prepare reports, and ensure data quality. Collaborate with clients' analytics teams, set standards for data leverage, and innovate reporting methodologies. Present insights to stakeholders, evaluate new tools, and contribute to social and campaign planning. This role requires strong analytical and communication skills, experience with social analytics tools, and a deep understanding of social media platforms.

Requirements

  • 4โ€“6+ years of experience in a social media analytics or strategy role within a digital, creative, or media agency; or in-house at a consumer-facing brand
  • Deep understanding of social platform ecosystems (TikTok, Meta, YouTube, X, Snap, etc.) and how to measure performance across both organic and paid media
  • Experience developing and managing cross-channel reporting dashboards and performance frameworks
  • Advanced proficiency in social analytics and listening tools (e.g. Brandwatch, Pulsar, Sprinklr, Talkwalker)
  • Strong command of Excel/Google Sheets and data visualization tools
  • Experience integrating social data with broader business KPIs
  • Strong storytelling and presentation skills, with the ability to translate data into clear narratives with actionable recommendations
  • Highly organized, with exceptional attention to detail and time management
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
  • A collaborative and curious nature, and an interest in the evolving social media landscape

  • Distill complex and disparate datasets into compelling insights and learnings
  • Prepare reports and talking points that give clarity to teams and stakeholders
  • Ensure the quality and consistency of data and reporting
  • Work with clientsโ€™ internal analytics teams to develop a holistic view on performance
  • Set the standard for how data and reporting can be leveraged to fuel campaign strategy and real-time optimizations
  • Elevate reporting methodologies, tools, and visualizations to improve our impact
  • Ensure constant innovation across all deliverables
  • Contribute to always-on social and campaign planning with insight-driven thinking
  • Evaluate and recommend new tools, platforms, and methodologies to advance our analytics capabilities
  • Confidently present insights to both internal stakeholders and external clients, translating data into actionable narratives
