Senior Software Development Engineer

Summary

Join our blockchain engineering team as a Senior Software Development Engineer (SDE III) and play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining secure, scalable blockchain infrastructure. You will work on systems powering wallet operations, protocol integrations, crypto asset flows, and compliance enforcement in a high-volume, regulated Web3 environment. Key responsibilities include managing the token lifecycle, designing crypto deposit and withdrawal systems, handling transaction signing, managing blockchain node upgrades, automating fund sweeping, conducting audits, implementing compliance measures, and managing wallet infrastructure and custody integrations. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills in cryptography, blockchain protocols, smart contracts, and Web3 technologies, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills. Success will be measured by timely token listings, system uptime, successful node upgrades, compliance adherence, and effective custody integrations.

Requirements

• 5–7 years
• B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• Cryptography and secure transaction protocols
• Blockchain and protocol understanding (Bitcoin, Ethereum, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Execute token listings, delistings, and swaps based on inputs from Marketing and Product teams, ensuring timelines and accuracy
• Design and maintain robust systems for managing crypto asset deposits and withdrawals
• Build and monitor integrations with third-party Wallet-as-a-Service (WAAS) providers and blockchain networks
• Implement in-built transaction monitoring and system alert mechanisms
• Sign outbound transactions securely and ensure proper authorization protocols are followed
• Track updates released by blockchain protocols, evaluate their impact, and safely implement mandatory/optional node upgrades
• Develop rollback mechanisms in case of instability
• Automate and manage scheduled sweeping of funds to designated wallets as per internal protocols
• Ensure traceability and security of all fund movements
• Conduct regular audits to identify and resolve transaction discrepancies
• Ensure transparency and traceability in line with internal and regulatory standards
• Ensure all wallet operations and crypto transactions meet current compliance regulations
• Proactively update systems and processes in response to changes in standards
• Manage end-to-end wallet infrastructure including configurations, access controls, and security protocols
• Integrate and manage multiple third-party custody service providers to ensure secure and reliable storage solutions
