Senior Software Engineer, Ads Creative Management

Summary

Join Reddit's Ads Creative Management team as a Senior Backend Engineer and contribute to building innovative AI-based tools for advertisers. You will be responsible for developing tools that simplify ad creation, leveraging your expertise in asset storage, AI/LLMs, and scaling services. This role offers the opportunity to work on large-scale projects from inception and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote environment. Reddit provides a flexible work environment, allowing you to work remotely or from one of their physical office locations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a software engineer with recent experience in a Senior role
• Experience executing on large scale projects from 0 to 1
• Excellent communication skills. You must be able to collaborate effectively with teams in a remote environment, and discuss complex topics with technical and non-technical audiences
• Ability to perform system analysis, troubleshooting, and debugging to identify and resolve integration issues
• Software development experience in one or more general purpose languages: Python, Golang, Rust, Java, Javascript, etc

Responsibilities

• Execution: Write clean, well tested, maintainable code that adheres to best practices
• Integration: Design and build solutions that span systems, and own the software design end to end
• Communication: Work in partnership with management and senior leadership to ensure alignment between technical and business goals
• Collaboration: Work with cross functional partners for feature development, bug fixes, and new system design to gather input and requirements
• Problem Solving: Proactively identify technical challenges and propose innovative solutions that align with the team's goals and contribute to the overall success of advertiser revenue growth

Preferred Qualifications

• Ads Industry experience
• Experience with LLMs and generative AI
