Remote Senior Software Engineer

Join Axon and be a Force for Good. As a Senior Full Stack Engineer on the Crash and Citations team, you will help shape the foundational architectural decisions that will shape a new and highly demanded product.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 8+ years of experience in full stack positions
• Experience designing and delivering highly-available, scalable cloud-based systems
• Experience in JavaScript/TypeScript
• Experience with one backend language (such as Java, Scala, Go, c#, C++, or similar)
• Experience working with SQL and NoSQL data stores
• Experience using Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub, TeamCity, ArgoCD, etc
• Experience working in an Agile environment

Responsibilities

• Develop a new set of Axon Records modules for Crash and Citation functionality
• Lead engineering architecture design reviews
• Set a high technical bar for the team through code and architecture design reviews
• Mentoring engineers
• Working across teams with Product, Design, and Engineering to create integrated solutions that delight our customers
• Improve our Engineering process, including long-term thinking, sprint planning and stand-ups
• Building services that adhere to our high bar on availability and latency in this mission-critical space
• Working with the latest open source technologies
