Senior Software Engineer

Summary

The job is for a Senior Engineer in the Developer Productivity Team at Clari. The role involves contributing to the design and development of next-generation engineering tools, collaborating with engineers across teams, and having experience with CI/CD pipelines, backend software development, testing, static analysis, reporting, build automation, artifact management, and containerization.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD), following best practices
• 5+ years of experience as a backend software developer preferably in Enterprise software development
• Experience with testing, static analysis, reporting, build automation (Bazel, Gradle, Maven, Yarn), artifact management (JARs, NPM, container images), and containerization (OCI, Docker, Jib)
• Passion for using measurements and data to solve challenging problems and iterate quickly

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and development of the next-generation engineering experience including Internal Developer Portal, Self-Service Environment Provisioning, Continuous Delivery Pipelines, Remote Debugging, and Distributed Tracing
• Write functional specifications and design documents for specific functions of Developer Productivity
• Collaborate effectively with engineers across teams to solve complex technical problems
• Collaborate on the delivery of capabilities on the Developer Productivity roadmap
