Senior Software Engineer, Frontend Developer

Summary

Join JumpCloud as a Software Engineer and contribute to our innovative Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) services. This role requires 5-8 years of experience in web development using various JavaScript frameworks and a strong understanding of modern JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Requirements

• 5-8 years experience developing websites in a variety of JavaScript frameworks
• Highly proficient with the JavaScript language and its modern ES6+ syntax and features
• Good understanding of HTML5 and CSS3
• Familiarity with automated JavaScript testing, specifically testing frameworks such as Jest
• Proficiency with modern development tools, like Vite, Webpack, and Git
• Experience with both consuming and designing RESTful APIs
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline (GH Actions) to build, test and deploy
• Passion for product and customer, not just for code
• You must be located in and authorized to work in the country noted in the job description to be considered for this role
• You will be expected commit to being ready and able to respond during your assigned shift, so that alerts don't go unaddressed

Responsibilities

• Implement user interfaces using the Vue.Js framework
• Build modular components which can be shared internally
• Ensure you've written an adequate spread of test cases to verify design requirements are being met
• Perform any upgrades and updates necessary for keeping up with modern security and development best practices
• Collaborate closely with UI/UX to deliver an amazing user experience
• Create well written documentation

Preferred Qualifications
