Senior Software Engineer

Summary

Join Versapay, a growing company specializing in Accounts Receivable Efficiency Suite. As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll design, develop, test, and support product features while collaborating with cross-functional teams. The role requires a background in computer science, engineering, or mathematics with +7 years of software engineering experience.

Requirements

• Background in computer science, engineering, and/or mathematics with +7 years of software engineering experience
• Strong knowledge of a variety of technology spanning algorithms/data-structures, languages (e.g. Ruby, Java, React.js, SQL), and benchmarking tools/techniques
• Knowledge of test driven development (TDD) and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance test automation coverage

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test product features that meet business and technical requirements on time and on budget
• Support planning, scoping, design, and implementation of new features
• Triage and correct performance and/or data integrity concerns
• Collaborate with product analysts, customer care, DevOps, and other engineers on features and support cases
• Contribute to critical R&D for scale and reliability as the company grows

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the Payments Industry and/or PCI/DSS

Benefits

• $120,000 - $140,000 a year
