Senior Software Quality Assurance

Summary

Join our team as a Senior Quality Assurance (QA) engineer and play a key role in ensuring product quality through manual testing. You will design and implement test plans, debug, and define corrective actions. Responsibilities include reviewing system requirements, tracking quality assurance metrics, and conducting tests before product launches. You will monitor all stages of software development to identify and resolve system malfunctions. Requirements

• +3 Years hands on experience on Testing Execution
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
• Background and career interest in software quality assurance
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum development process
• Experience in API testing using various tools, with a solid understanding of web protocols and data formats

Responsibilities

• Review business requirements and define scope of testing
• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and Test Strategy documents for projects
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
• Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
• Support the team in understanding the project scope, and resolve complex technical problems
• Monitor team members’ progress
• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
• Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
• Monitor debugging process results
• Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions
• Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
