Summary
Join Anaplan's EMEA team as a self-motivated Senior Solution Consultant – Financial Consolidations, focusing on the German-speaking market. This role supports opportunities related to Anaplan's acquisition of Fluence (Statutory & Management Consolidation) across the German-speaking region. You'll be part of a fast-growing cloud vendor, blending your love of numbers and sales. As a Solution Consultant, you'll help clients solve complex problems and showcase Anaplan's products. The team embraces diverse perspectives and values hard work and fun. You will engage with large enterprise prospects, develop solutions and demos, build proof-of-concept models, navigate prospect environments, cross-train teammates, and create product awareness.
Requirements
- You have sold a financial consolidation software technology or are a current user of this software
- BS/ MS/ MA/ MBA in Accounting, Finance or equivalent
- Strong understanding and appreciation of Statutory consolidation requirements (IFRS/HGB/FER/GAAP) across different countries within the DACH Region
- 10+ years of experience in Presales or implementation of statutory or management consolidation solutions on any of the key technologies, including but not limited to Hyperion HFM/FCCS, Cognos Controller, SAP BPC, Onestream, Tagetik, etc
- Ideally hands-on experience within the Accounting department of a large multinational
- Aptitude for quickly ramping up on new technology
- Excellent presentation, client relationship, and interpersonal skills- both internally and externally
- German C1(CEFR)
- Willingness to travel
Responsibilities
- Engaging with targeted, large enterprise prospects to identify broken business processes and problems
- Ascertaining and explaining Fluence’s outstanding ability to solve them
- Developing Statutory & Management Consolidation and Disclosure Management solutions, demos, and messaging
- Building Proof of Concept models that are tailored to solve prospects’ problems
- Navigating sophisticated prospect environments to facilitate the adoption of the Anaplan solution
- Cross-training teammates on solution expertise
- Creating product awareness in the marketplace

- Ability to take a consultative selling approach by listening to customer needs and shaping a shared vision for a solution
- Experience with multi-dimensional modelling, business intelligence, EPM, or analytics would be a plus
