Requirements

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Pre-Sales Engineer in Identity Security related field
  • Technical Expertise: Understanding concepts and technologies in Identity, IT operations, security and cloud platforms
  • Customer Engagement: Proven experience with aligning capabilities to meet customers desired outcomes in large Enterprise companies
  • Communication Skills: The ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated ability to analyse complex technical problems and develop innovative solutions
  • Collaboration: Build strong relationships with geographically disperse colleagues and customers
  • Travel: Ability to travel as needed, with domestic and international travel required

Responsibilities

  • Serve as Trusted Advisor: Act as a trusted advisor to aligned accounts and technical teams
  • Exhibit Strong Communication Skills: Influence decisions through effective presentations, demos, and workshops
  • Understand the Customer’s Journey: Guide customers through their buying journey, recommending solutions that meet their critical business outcomes
  • Prove Business Value: Demonstrate the business value of BeyondTrust solutions in solving the customer’s business problems and driving their target outcomes during POCs
  • Drive Expansion and Adoption: Develop technical relationships and create BeyondTrust champions with existing customers through Quarterly Technical Reviews
  • Partner with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with teams such as Solutions Architecture, Customer Success, Professional Services, Product Management, and Engineering to ensure success throughout the customer journey
  • Provide Authoritative Guidance: Offer authoritative guidance on Identity Security concepts, leveraging your strong skills in identity infrastructure, cloud, IT operations and security
  • Maintain Technology Expertise: Establish and maintain a deep understanding of the BeyondTrust portfolio, the partner ecosystem, and the competitive landscape
  • Industry Awareness: Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and security threats. Continuously expand knowledge to provide thought leadership
  • Achieve and exceed quarterly sales targets by identifying and securing new business opportunities and expanding existing accounts
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering comprehensive and tailored solutions that meet client needs, evidenced by positive feedback and repeat business
  • Conduct compelling product demonstrations that clearly communicate the value proposition and differentiators of our solutions, resulting in a high conversion rate of demos to sales
  • Maintain up-to-date industry knowledge and product expertise and share this knowledge effectively with both team members and clients to support the sales process
  • Collaborate effectively with the pre-sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to meeting sales and customer objectives

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of PAM: Experience with BeyondTrust products or similar security solutions
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science (Information Systems) or related field
  • Industry Certifications: CISSP, CISA, CCSP, CEH
