Requirements

• 7+ years of experience as a Sound Designer in the video game industry
• Proven experience creating high-quality sound effects for weapons, environments, and dynamic objects
• Expertise in Wwise and Unreal Engine for sound design implementation
• Well equipped home studio with professional audio software and hardware
• Strong understanding of audio recordings, editing, and mixing technologies
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• A passion for video games and a strong understanding of interactive audio principles

Responsibilities

• Design and implement high-quality sound effects for weapons, environments, characters, and user interface elements
• Utilize Wwise and Unreal Engine to integrate sound effects and create dynamic soundscapes
• Collaborate with the Audio Director, Designers, and Programmers to achieve a cohesive and impactful sonic experience
• Capture and manipulate field recordings to create realistic and immersive sounds
• Design and maintain sound libraries for efficient workflow
• Document sound design decisions and workflows
• Stay up-to-date on the latest audio design trends and technologies

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 shipped AAA game
• Good communication skills and experience working in a creative team
• In-depth knowledge of music production for games
• Unreal Engine experience (UE5 Preferred)
• Music Composition
• Experience with Foley Sound Design
