Summary

Join Chamberlain University as a Business Development professional to build clinical relationships in potential new campus markets and support new program development. This role involves developing national account strategies, negotiating clinical affiliations, and identifying strategic opportunities. You will utilize various communication methods to assess clinical site capacity and secure partnerships. The position requires a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) and 5+ years of business development experience. Chamberlain offers a hybrid work model (transitioning to primarily in-office) and a competitive benefits package.

Requirements

  • Bachelors required, Masters preferred
  • Min 5+ years business development experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills – must be able to work with various levels of management
  • Team player willing to share and exchange ideas
  • Action oriented – work autonomously with little direction

Responsibilities

  • Develop relationships with health organizations in potential and current markets
  • Develop and manage a national account strategy
  • Use direct mail, telephone, email and face-to-face meetings to determine clinical site capacity for Chamberlain University students and potential for partnership
  • Initiate clinical affiliation agreements and other types of written support for applications for approval of program and new campuses
  • Researches, contacts, negotiates, and contracts with potential clinical agencies for student experiences
  • Identifies potential strategic opportunities based on market intelligence
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) on clinical relationship initiatives
  • Identify best practices, create client facing information, and establish on-going working relationships
  • Completes other duties as assigned
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Complies with all policies and standards

Preferred Qualifications

  • Healthcare sales experience preferred. Nursing preferred
  • 1 – 2 years salesforce.com experience preferred
