Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a clinical environment
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Data Quality Assurance, Healthcare Data Management, a Clinical role, or other medical background with a focus on data-driven processes
- Proficient in working with large data sets and working with databases and master data management systems
- High degree of proficiency in SQL, MS Excel
- Effective customer service and communication skills applying to both internal and external customers
- Strong understanding of healthcare products and their clinical application
- Comprehensive knowledge of the healthcare supply chain landscape, supplier-manufacturer relationships, and implications of mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to independently interpret and act on data insights
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced cross-functional environment and meet tight deadlines
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain data quality standards and business rules for clinical healthcare products, ensuring consistency and reliability within the GHX master catalog
- Engage effectively with customers to resolve issues, demonstrating a strong understanding of processes and clinical expertise to build confidence and ensure satisfaction
- Maintain a thorough understanding of supplier, distributor, and manufacturer relationships, ensuring alignment with data quality standards and addressing nuances in the merger, acquisition, and divestiture landscape
- Apply a broad knowledge of healthcare supply chain operations, focusing on standards that impact healthcare providers, product distribution, and data integration
- Identify and resolve gaps in existing standards and processes, recommending and implementing changes to enhance operational efficiency and data accuracy
- Maintain high-quality, clinically relevant healthcare product data in line with UNSPSC and other applicable standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data management practices with operational and customer requirements
- Conduct ad hoc analyses on large datasets to identify data integrity issues and implement corrective actions. Use SQL and Excel to manage and interpret complex datasets
- Act as a primary liaison for healthcare providers and suppliers, ensuring alignment on data requirements and advocating for data accuracy, consistency and compliance with industry standards
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of process documentation, standards, and training materials related to content operations quality practices, goals and objectives
- Ability to contribute different thoughts, ideas and viewpoints that lead to greater innovation on projects and cross-functional collaborative efforts
