Senior Specialist, Professional Learning Design

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience working with PK–12 mathematics content, including knowledge of the Common Core State Standards and Progressions Documents or equivalent
• Familiar with IM K–12 Math™ and IMv.360 Math
• Excellent understanding of adult learning, teacher professional knowledge, and how teachers can best be supported to shift their practice
• Must reside in and be legally authorized to work in the USA

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new iterations of IM Professional Learning (PL) materials, aligning with IM’s broader organizational goals and equity-focused vision
• Serve as the project lead to ensure that all PL product requirements defined by the PL Product Manager are met, align with user needs, and reflect IM’s values
• Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive PL mapping strategy and processes, ensuring regular updates and maintenance
• Collaborate with other teams to refine work processes, solve problems, and ensure timely completion of deliverables
• Attend IM Community events and PL sessions (virtual and in-person) to maintain alignment between PL product development and adult learning needs

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiar with IM’s Content Management System
• Proficiency with cloud-based systems, especially Google Workspace applications, Asana, Notion, Zoom, Google Workspace, Slack, and Zoom
