Join AUTO1 Group as our new Senior Logistics Business Development Manager and contribute to managing a Europe-wide network of over 200 logistics partners. You will be responsible for negotiating and managing contracts, leading tendering processes, overseeing logistics administration, and contributing to P&L targets. This role requires collaboration with internal and external stakeholders and managing cross-functional projects. We seek a candidate with a B.Sc./M.Sc. in a relevant field and 6+ years of experience. Requirements

  • B.Sc./M.Sc. in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, Economics, or a related field, and 6+ years of relevant work experience
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and stay within budget
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to distill complex data into actionable insights
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to manage external partners independently
  • Fluency in English

Responsibilities

  • Own the negotiation, execution, and management of contracts with suppliers, landlords, and partners, aligning them with organizational goals and objectives
  • Lead the entire tendering process for new logistics solutions, from preparing tender documents to evaluating proposals
  • Oversee the logistics administration system, ensuring efficient management of information and processes
  • Contribute to achieving P&L targets by managing costs and providing detailed reporting
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, and develop expertise in your areas of responsibility
  • Manage cross-functional, data-driven projects with the aim of exceeding expectations and driving business improvements
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on increasing efficiency, reducing costs, and improving service quality within the logistics network

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in parcel logistics, automotive logistics, finished vehicle logistics, transportation, real estate, or network design
  • Proficiency in other European languages
  • Industry knowledge and an established network within automotive logistics or the delivery space
