Senior Supply Chain Analyst

Requirements

• Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
• Have 3+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or a similar role (preferably in a supply chain or logistics setting)
• Be proficient in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, R
• Possess knowledge of statistical analysis and predictive modeling techniques
• Have experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud). Ability to create clear and insightful data visualizations to support decision-making
• Possess excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and implement solutions to solve supply chain issues
• Have strong verbal and written communication skills, be proficient in presenting complex data and insights to stakeholders. Ability to lead and mentor junior analysts and team members
• Be able to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment and manage multiple projects

Responsibilities

• Translate business needs into analytics/reporting requirements to support executive decisions and workflows with required information
• Analyze large datasets related to supply chain operations (e.g., inventory, supplier data, lead times, and logistics performance)
• Develop analytical and statistical models to forecast demand, inventory levels, and procurement needs and optimize supply chain performance
• Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the supply chain and recommend data-driven solutions
• Analyze supply chain workflows to improve processes and reduce operational costs
• Develop and implement dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and supply chain metrics in real-time
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (procurement, logistics, manufacturing) to identify data needs and collaborate on problem-solving initiatives
• Present findings and actionable insights to stakeholders through reports and data visualizations
• Use data to assess and mitigate risks related to supply chain disruptions, supplier performance, and market changes
• Create scenario planning models to anticipate and prepare for potential supply chain challenges

Preferred Qualifications

• Have experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and supply chain management software
• Possess advanced knowledge of inventory management, procurement, and logistics
• Have experience with big data tools and technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark)
• Possess awareness of emerging technologies like IoT, blockchain, and AI in supply chain management
• Have knowledge of supply chain best practices and industry standards
