Summary
Join Intelerad as a Senior Systems Administrator and deploy complex applications remotely, minimizing risk and client impact. Collaborate with the team to analyze change requests and implement optimal solutions. You will analyze technical procedures for efficiency improvements, install and configure software, perform server maintenance and disaster recovery, and provide 3rd-level support. This role requires strong technical skills, teamwork abilities, and problem-solving skills within a medical imaging environment. The position involves participation in on-call rotations and occasional weekend/holiday work.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent combination of training/certification/experience
- 3+ years of system administration experience with Windows focus

- Strong sense of ownership and dedication to results
- Strong technical aptitude and an understanding of medical imaging - medical workflow knowledge (DICOM, PACS, RIS, HL7)
- Excellent teamwork skills, and the ability to develop and maintain internal and external relationships
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of the following technologies: Windows Server
- Shell, Python or PowerShell or equivalent
- Networking / Storage / Infrastructure
Responsibilities
- Deploy Intelerad's complex applications remotely while minimizing risk and client impact
- Analyze complex change requests to determine and implement the best possible solution for the customer and Intelerad
- Analyze technical procedures to implement efficiency and reliability improvements
- Install and configure Intelerad's software solutions remotely on Windows servers
- Perform complex server additions, software upgrades, configuration changes and disaster recoveries
- Perform 3rd level support in the areas of changes
- Participate in operational tasks with multiple products
- Identify, assess and implement improvements to processes and technologies to deliver a better product
- Develop scripts and automation to improve the efficiency of system administration
- Participate in training new staff members
- Create, maintain and improve documentation
- Participate in on-call rotation to assist with emergencies reported after hours
- Work on weekends, after hours and holidays when needed
- Other duties as necessary
Preferred Qualifications
- IntelePACS / Clario Worklist / Digisonics or similar
- Windows Server 2019 or newer / SQL Server 2019 or newer
- IT certifications in Microsoft, ITIL or other network related fields
- Microsoft SQL / PostgreSQL or similar RDBMS
- Version tracking tools (Mercurial, Git, RCS)
- Software development
- Azure, AWS and/or VMWare certifications / experience
