Summary

You will provide technical support for the Veeva Vault application infrastructure, a cloud-based software solution. Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
  • Extensive experience in Linux OS administration in a production cloud/virtualization environment
  • Strong written/oral communication skills
  • Experience with IT security in an enterprise environment
  • Strong desire to learn and share knowledge with a diverse global team

Responsibilities

  • Provide best practice support, break/fix, and build for the Vault application infrastructure
  • Monitor alerts and troubleshoot critical production issues impacting end-users including system unavailability and data integrity issues
  • Build out and deploy new infrastructure
  • Provide support to developers during regular code releases
  • Software deployment, configuration management, and performance management in the AWS environment
  • Document new processes and keep existing documentation and tools up to date as the environment changes
  • Continuously learn and innovate. Participate in developing new solutions to complex problems.Β Cross train with other team members to share knowledge and learn from others

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Experience with MySQL or other relational databases
  • Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, Perl, Ruby, etc.)
  • Knowledge of IP networking, VPN's, DNS, load balancing and firewalls
