Requirements

• Extensive experience in Linux Operating System administration (RHEL, CentOS, SLES, Ubuntu)
• Strong background in Hypervisor management (VMware, Hyper-V)
• Proficient in Cloud Platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
• Expertise in installing and configuring services on Linux (BIND, HTTPD, NTP, CRON, SSH, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Proficient in managing web instances, virtual hosts, and SSL certificates
• Experience with Configuration Management Tools (Red Hat Satellite, Foreman, Spacewalk)
• Familiarity with Monitoring Tools (SCOM, PRTG, Nagios, Zabbix)
• Advanced scripting skills in Linux (Bash, Python, Perl, PowerShell)
• Experience with Linux SSO and Active Directory integration
• Exceptional knowledge in Automation platforms (Ansible, Puppet, Terraform)
• Deep understanding of Integration platforms (Jenkins, Bamboo)
• Repository control experience (Git, Subversion)
• Proficient with Security Scanning Tools (Nessus, Retina, OpenVAS)

Responsibilities

• Lead operations within a Change Controlled Environment adhering to ITIL processes
• Oversee asset monitoring and inventory management
• Ensure compliance with Security Policy and conduct Compliance Audits
• Manage patching and remediation processes
• Implement Linux add-on services and configurations
• Facilitate proactive incident management and troubleshooting efforts
• Administer server provisioning, deployment, and decommissioning
• Drive platform migration and integration initiatives
• Undertake overtime as required
• Be on an on-call basis as per the roster
• Travel internationally for training or as needed
• Keep records of effort and time as directed
• Meet any assigned personal KPIs
