Summary
Join Ada Health as a Senior System Operations Engineer and play a key role in shaping the future of our IT infrastructure. You will manage and optimize our internal IT systems, including Okta, Google Workspace, and cloud servers (GCP, AWS). This hybrid role, based primarily in our central London office, requires strong experience in Okta administration, macOS/Linux management, and a solution-oriented approach. You will collaborate with the information security team, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide 2nd/3rd level IT support. Requirements
- 3+ years' experience performing a similar IT role at a senior level
- Strong experience in Okta administration, Okta Workflows and API integrations
- Experience managing macOS or Linux operating systems in an enterprise environment
- Experience with working on Atlassian, GWS, Github
- Knowledge one or more programming languages, such as Python or Bash
- Solution-oriented mindset with a focus on improving IT infrastructure and user experience
Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and document internal IT infrastructure (Okta, Github, Google Workspace, Cloudflare, Jira, Confluence, Slack) and cloud servers (GCP, AWS)
- Optimize Okta administration through automation, leveraging Okta Workflows and API integrations to automate complex identity management tasks and enhance security and efficiency
- Manage and scale our fleet of macOS and Windows devices and related infrastructure (Jamf Pro, Intune)
- Drive security standards in collaboration with the information security team and establish best practices for our enterprise environment
- Ensure regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR) and manage backups and recovery processes
- Provide 2nd and 3rd level IT support to employees
