You will lead DataOps initiatives, manage cross-functional projects, and bridge the gap between Product and R&D workflows. This critical role ensures efficient data pipeline orchestration and timely project delivery. You will oversee data pipeline orchestration, dataset management, and data governance. You will also lead complex R&D projects, manage project dependencies, and serve as a liaison between Product and R&D teams. The ideal candidate possesses extensive program management experience in technology and data, expertise in managing annotation pipelines, and proficiency in project management tools and Agile methodologies.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of program management experience in technology, software, or data-focused environments
  • Experience in managing annotation pipelines and collaborating with Data Scientists and annotation teams to build annotated AI training datasets
  • Expertise in cross-functional project leadership, managing dependencies across multiple teams and disciplines
  • Experience bridging Waterfall product roadmaps with Agile R&D team's methodology, ensuring smooth collaboration
  • Proficiency in project management tools (JIRA, Confluence, Smartsheet, etc.) and Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical complexities into actionable plans
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven mindset
  • Knowledge of AI data annotation best practice
  • Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and big data technologies

Responsibilities

  • Drive the orchestration of data pipelines between our team of annotators and our Researchers, ensuring the efficient, scalable, and secure handling of our data
  • Oversee the creation, management, and optimization of our annotated datasets to support analytics, machine learning, and R&D initiatives
  • Collaborate with Data Engineering and Analytics teams to establish robust data governance and quality assurance processes
  • Lead complex, high-impact R&D projects across multiple teams, ensuring clear communication, alignment, and execution
  • Manage project dependencies, risk mitigation, and stakeholder expectations to drive successful delivery
  • Develop and maintain project roadmaps, timelines, and budgets to ensure on-time and cost-effective execution
  • Serve as the liaison between Product teams and R&D teams by ensuring seamless integration and communication of our strategic projects into the R&D development flow
  • Work with product managers, scrum masters, and engineering managers to translate quarterly roadmaps into executable pieces of work with clear milestones and timelines
  • Identify bottlenecks and proactively resolve conflicts between structured product planning and iterative R&D processes

Preferred Qualifications

PMP, CSM, or SAFe Agile certification
