Summary
Join Experian, a global leader in data services, as a Senior Technical Project Manager. You will lead and manage projects through all phases of the SDLC, driving project execution, leading operational technical teams, developing project plans, facilitating team collaboration, and managing work across multiple teams. This role requires proven experience leading medium to large enterprise-level technical projects using different project methodologies. You will be responsible for creating project plans, collaborating with Technical Product Owners and Technical Leads, documenting and coordinating cross-team dependencies and risks, creating and communicating regular project status reporting, facilitating team events, building operational readiness plans, building relationships with partners, and working with peers to improve processes and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 5+ years in a project management role leading complex, technical projects is required
- 5+ years of hybrid iterative/waterfall development experience around multiple project frameworks with experience leading medium to large scale technology projects across multiple teams
- Experience communicating and presenting to executive level leadership
- 3+ years of experience using Atlassian application suite of products (JIRA, Confluence, JIRA Plans, JIRA Align) and
Responsibilities
- Create project plans and lead implementation across multiple teams to meet the project's definition of done
- Collaborate with Technical Product Owners and Technical Leads to deliver challenging our goals and outcomes
- Document, coordinate cross-team dependencies and risks to keep projects on track
- Create and communicate regular project status reporting to all levels of the organization
- Facilitate team events, such as the daily sync, planning, reviews, and retrospectives
- Build operational readiness plans to ensure seamless transition to operational staff
- Build relationships with partners, Technical Product Owners and other members outside the teams or in other departments
- Work with peers to add process or procedures by applying project management practices to increase productivity and effectiveness for the teams we work with
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Amazon Web Services and cloud implementation desired, not required
- Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), or other Project Management/Agile certification preferred
