Summary

Join Toast as a Senior Enterprise Customer Trainer and become the primary training contact for our largest and most complex customers. You will act as a liaison to Toast’s Education department, owning the successful enablement of your customers. Responsibilities include customer discovery, identifying learning needs, developing customized training plans, designing educational content, delivering training, evaluating impact, and iterating as needed. You will collaborate with the Learning Design team and Go To Market & Customer Success teams to ensure successful onboarding. This role requires strong facilitation and Toast product expertise to solve complex customer challenges and deliver impactful training solutions. You will also mentor other trainers and contribute to team goals.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of training delivery or educational experience
  • Combined 8+ years experience in the food/beverage and POS industry
  • Ability & willingness to  travel often in support of in-person trainings, that may result in working nights and weekends to best support our customer needs
  • Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and writing skills
  • Expert knowledge across Toast’s products, technology areas, and methodologies
  • Experience coaching, leading, and developing people and cross function projects to drive an inclusive learning environment
  • Passionate about the customer experience, training, and technology to analyze the customer needs
  • Highly motivated, passionate overachiever and team player
  • Proven success operating independently, working under pressure, and navigating competing priorities in a constantly changing environment

Responsibilities

  • Consistently & successfully execute virtual and on-site trainings to the complete satisfaction of Toast customers
  • Self-manage complex and dynamic training and travel schedules
  • Iterate and improve upon Toast’s Enterprise training program
  • Collaborate directly with high-level customer executives and corporate team members to design educational needs analyses and execute upon intricate, long-term custom education plans
  • Leverage expertise to solve complex customer challenges
  • Manage projects and apply learning design skills to create custom training experiences for diverse audiences, effectively balancing competing priorities
  • Cultivate meaningful, long-term client relationships that help differentiate Toast’s service model
  • Be an excellent team mate, team leader and strategic thought partner that drives impact and results for the team, department, and Toast
  • Contribute to monthly and quarterly team goals & metrics
  • Embody Toast’s Values and always represent Toast  with the utmost professionalism
  • Mentor and improve the performance of other trainers on the team
  • Represent the training team while collaborating cross-functionally with other departments to drive the highest levels of measurable customer success
