Requirements

5-10 Years of Experience in Underwriting Management and/or Professional Liability lines with either Portfolio and or P&L accountabilities and direct underwriting responsibilities within Fintech/Financial Institutions

Responsibilities

• Underwrite a diverse product portfolio within the Fintech / Financial Institutions innovation economy vertical to deliver target New Business, Renewal Retention, and Loss Ratio goals adhering to Vouch’s underwriting strategy and guidelines
• Refer accounts outside authority to the Portfolio Underwriter with actionable proposals
• Continuously seek ways to standardize the decision-making process from a quantitative and qualitative standpoint to inform and augment our underwriting processes. Clearly document underwriting decisions with rationale in the underwriting file
• Collaborate closely with the sales team on individual deals to ensure the best possible outcomes to drive proprietary product adoption and cross-sell and creative solutions to attract new clients and retain existing customers
