Senior Unreal Engine Developer

Summary

The job is for a developer with at least 5 years of experience in commercial projects development, preferably with 3 years on Unreal Engine. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Unreal Engine projects, collaborating with artists and other developers, optimizing and debugging applications, staying updated with industry trends, participating in code reviews, and contributing to technical documentation. Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience working with commercial projects development
• At least 3 years on Unreal Engine
• Wide experience of using different aspects of the Unreal Engine
• Strong programming skills with ability to write clean and clear maintainable code, firm refactoring experience
• Writing technical documentation
• Familiarity with agile processes
• The ability to architect, build and maintain cross-platform software products
• Ability to work autonomously and in smaller/larger teams
• English – Upper-intermediate level or higher

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Unreal Engine projects
• Collaborate with artists, designers, and other developers to create immersive and engaging game experiences
• Optimize and debug Unreal Engine applications to ensure smooth performance
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and Unreal Engine updates
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with other engines (e.g. Unity)
• Familiarity with virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) development
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
