Summary
Join Feeld, a fully remote organization, as a Senior User Researcher (Contract) for a 6-month engagement. You will collaborate with the Head of User Research to conduct mixed-methods research across the product lifecycle. Responsibilities include leading research initiatives, using various research methods (interviews, usability testing, surveys), managing multiple projects, partnering with data and analytics teams, and communicating research insights. The ideal candidate possesses 5+ years of user research experience, including 3+ years in a senior role, and proven experience in mixed-methods research. Experience in the dating or social app space is strongly preferred. Feeld offers flexible working hours, a fully remote work situation, on-demand therapy sessions, and a transparent, equitable compensation system with a baseline salary of Β£60,000 GBP per year.
Requirements
- Min 5+ years of user research experience, with 3+ years in a senior role
- Proven experience conducting mixed-methods research β both qualitative and quantitative (e.g. surveys, quantitative usability testing) β with clear evidence of impact
- Confidence in collaborating with data and analytics teams, integrating quant findings into broader research narratives
- Deep understanding of the full product lifecycle, with experience embedding research at every stage in a fast-paced, app-based environment
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality research within tight timelines (e.g. sprint cycles)
- Availability to start 1st August
Responsibilities
- Partner with the Head of User Research to scope, lead, and deliver research initiatives
- Conduct discovery and iterative product research using a range of methods (e.g. interviews, usability testing, surveys, session replays)
- Manage multiple research initiatives simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time and to a high standard
- Partner with Data and Analytics teams to capture and surface qualitative insights that contribute to best-in-class mixed-methods research outcomes
- Communicate research insights in clear, compelling formats tailored to the needs of different teams
- Contribute to the development of research operations, including ethical best practices, participant recruitment, and tooling
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with dating or social apps is strongly preferred
- Experience conducting research on sensitive and personal topics, with a strong understanding of ethical considerations
- A passion for Research Operations, with proven experience setting up processes, workflows, and tooling to support efficient, ethical research at scale
