Summary
Join Later as a Senior User Researcher and become part of a strategic team impacting Marketing, Product, and Sales. Lead research to understand the creator + brand ecosystem and strengthen creator partnerships. Lead Marketing initiatives using data-backed insights. You'll leverage mixed methods, excel in large-scale surveys, and communicate findings effectively. You'll need strong quantitative and qualitative skills, understanding of user psychology, and business acumen. This role requires collaboration with various teams and the ability to translate complex information into compelling visuals.
Requirements
- 5+ years experience in web app implementation and/or a combination of market research
- Degree in HCI, Cognitive Psychology, Human Factors, or related degree (or equivalent work experience)
- Demonstrated experience in user research process from planning, recruitment, execution, and delivering results
- Demonstrated experience executing usability studies, personas, diary studies, field studies, and other qualitative research methods
- Demonstrated experience of statistical concepts and other quantitative methods to ensure rigor and validity of research to inform and guide decisions. Methods include execution of large scale surveys
- Excellent communication and presentation skills that allow you to clearly communicate complex research concepts and direction to stakeholders across the company
Responsibilities
- Identify and prioritize key user research questions and objectives in partnership with multiple stakeholders including product, design, marketing, sales, and data teams
- Works collaboratively to influence the timing for collecting, delivering, and refining user-driven insights
- Manage time efficiently while balancing priorities, and ensure projects are well run, timely, and planned with clear tasks and milestones
- Conduct a variety of quantitative and qualitative research, and select the appropriate methodology depending on the business needs and goals
- Analyze qualitative user data to generate tactical and strategic insights, actionable recommendations keeping in mind current knowledge, project goals, and risks
- Analyze quantitative data sets from data partners and execute large scale surveys to uncover insights that will inform content marketing initiatives
- Translate research findings into clear, concise insights and can articulate complex information into effective storytelling using clear, compelling, and engaging visuals (infographics, graphs, etc)
- Help product owners define a compelling product vision (short term and long term) and assess market demand based on data collected via market research, customer interviews and user surveys
