Summary
Join Tide's Partner Credit Services team as a Senior UX Researcher to lead end-to-end research projects within the credit market. You will deliver high-quality studies to enhance user experience and drive business growth, working with product stakeholders and the design team. This hands-on role involves fieldwork, data analysis, and consulting with business partners. Requirements
- 4+ years of experience with diverse research methods, particularly in product environments
- Strong skills in designing experiments, studies, and research questions
- Proficient in behavioral analysis, data collection, and moderation across contexts
- Skilled at analyzing quantitative and qualitative data, with expertise in data visualization
- Creative and innovative in developing and refining research methodologies
- Familiarity with Jobs-To-Be-Done research and ability to guide teams in its application
- Adept at producing compelling reports and presentations
- Skilled at working with diverse teams in fast-paced environments
- Effective at managing stakeholders and aligning research to company objectives
- Strong project planning and resource management skills, including balancing priorities and aligning with business goals
- Expertise in facilitating collaboration and guiding non-experts in research processes
- Strong communication skills, including workshop planning and facilitation
Responsibilities
- Planning and running research activities as a hands-on practitioner
- Working with business stakeholders to scope and prioritise research requests in line with company planning
- Consulting on a variety of user research methods across the business and within your product area
- Conducting moderated studies to get a detailed understanding of customer needs
- Applying both qualitative and quantitative methods as appropriate as well as advising others on when to use each
- Analysing data from fieldwork and making recommendations
- Managing external agencies for participant recruitment purposes
- Working with teams to help identify user driven innovations and improvements
- Adhering to and advocating for top quality standards and best practices in user research
- Collaborating with a variety of stakeholders to synthesize business insights
- Supporting design leads and product teams as a trusted advisor on all aspects of research
- Defining standards and best practices in user research
- Democratising research practices and self-service approaches to empower Tideans to conduct their own research
- Keeping abreast of research trends and developments
- Presenting project findings to the wider business
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in Sociology, Psychology, Anthropology, HCI, or similar fields is a plus but not required
- Experience working with digital product teams, especially in start-ups or scale-ups
- Experience in retail banking or retail financial services is advantageous
