Requirements

  • You have 5+ years of experience working in a fast-paced, digital agency environment across multiple work groups and with multiple concurrent projects across user experience design
  • You are at your best when you provide expert-level guidance on project workflow and UX design deliverables that achieve the best possible project outcomes given a set of budget, timeline, and client constraints
  • You are highly proficient in UX tools such as Miro and Figjam for facilitation and deliverable presentations, additionally other user testing tools like Optimal Workshop
  • You have the ability to confidently plan and facilitate workshops to explore a project's ambiguity and to ensure the outcomes help the project team move forward
  • You have a strong understanding of web interactions, patterns, best practices, and common challenges website developers face, and you have experience driving strategic solutions to those challenges
  • You are able to understand design systems from a UX perspective to assist any design decisions you face in collaboration with a UI designer
  • You've worked with large-scale, CMS-driven website projects using block-based editors (e.g. Gutenberg for WordPress)
  • You understand content strategy, publishing workflows, and content management platforms and are able to confidently deep-dive into understanding a client's editorial process

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert-level UX strategy, guidance, and design across 3-4 projects at a time - including workshop planning and facilitation, user research, personas, user testing, site structures, wireframes, user flows, and other representations of UX design direction to guide clients through design processes
  • Consistently and proactively build long-term, and highly productive working relationships across disciplines at 10up and with our clients, while working independently
  • Create and communicate UX Design project plans that account for project constraints and client preferences, including the collaboration between other design disciplines such as UI design
  • Recognize and pursue UX Design opportunities with existing and/or new clients with the support of account development team members
