Requirements

  • 5+ years experience managing web and mobile app development projects in the direct-to-consumer, e-commerce, or FinTech sectors
  • Experience with leadership, with experience promoting agreement and accountability across teams
  • Knowledge of Agile and iterative development methodologies
  • Experience with the Product Operating Model
  • Proficient in using JIRA, Confluence, Asana, Slack, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Teams
  • CSM, CSPO, PMI-ACP, or PMP certifications

Responsibilities

  • Lead and operate autonomously, making strategic decisions to ensure project outcomes align with our goals
  • Ensure adherence to Agile principles by being the voice of reason and collaborating with the team to make tough decisions
  • Develop and implement strategic project plans that find and address risks to ensure project success
  • Coordinate with multiple departments to ensure understanding of organizational goals, building relationships with important partners to guide project success
  • Lead teams to ensure agreement across all departments for managed projects
  • Develop junior project managers, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth
  • Stay current with industry trends and technological advancements, integrating solutions into project management practices
  • Maintain a level of organization and proficiency with a commitment to transparency to build trust within the company
  • Exercise autonomy in decision-making, removing obstacles and solving complex problems
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives
  • Coach teams and leaders on Agile best practices, looking for ways to improve productivity and team outcomes
