Summary
Join Samsara, a leader in the Connected Operations™ Cloud, as a Senior Workday Developer specializing in integrations. You will design, develop, and maintain complex integrations within our Workday ecosystem, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data flow. This role requires expertise in Workday integration technologies and experience in HR-related domains. You will own integrations with various systems, including payroll and benefits providers. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 4+ years as an Integrations Developer within Workday HRIS
- Strong proficiency in Workday integration technologies, including Workday Studio, EIBs, and custom report transformations, Workday security, BP administration, alert notification, advanced report writing, and calculated fields
- In-depth knowledge of Workday APIs and Web Services
Responsibilities
- Own and maintain all US Workday Payroll Integrations (Fidelity, Forma, Schwab, Netsuite)
- Own and maintain all Samsara Benefit Integrations (Aetna, Kaiser, Guardian, Nationwide)
- Own and maintain all IT integration (Okta, Qualitrics)
- Help resolve integration issues requiring in-depth expertise in the Workday solution
- Collaborate with HRIS and IT teams to gather integration requirements, design robust integration solutions, and create technical specifications
- Develop and maintain inbound and outbound integrations using Workday Studio, EIBs (Enterprise Interface Builder), and other Workday integration tools
- Design and implement data transformation, mapping, and processes to ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of integrations to identify and resolve issues, ensuring data integrity and system reliability
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for integrations, including design documents, change logs, and troubleshooting guides
- Ensure that all integrations comply with data security, privacy, and compliance standards, including GDPR and other relevant regulations
- Proactively monitor integrations, perform regular maintenance, and troubleshoot any operational issues to minimize downtime
- Collaborate with external vendors and third-party service providers to facilitate integrations and resolve any issues as needed
- Stay updated with industry best practices, Workday updates, and emerging technologies to suggest improvements and optimize existing integrations
- Create test scripts, document test scenarios and perform testing activities
