Summary
Join SmartRecruiters as an SEO Consultant and contribute to the success of up to eight clients across various industries. This 6-month contract role involves delivering SEO strategies, coordinating with the wider SEO team, and ensuring high customer satisfaction. You will work closely with other team members to create impactful SEO offerings, driving organic growth and top rankings for clients' career sites. Key responsibilities include managing customer relationships, influencing contract renewals, tailoring SEO strategies, and overseeing resource allocation. The role requires strong SEO expertise, proven success, and excellent communication skills.
Requirements
- 3+ Years in Search Engine Optimisation: Over three years of experience working within a dynamic Digital Advertising Agency
- SEO Expertise: Proficient in Google Analytics 4, Search Console, and SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMRush, Moz, and Screaming Frog
- Comprehensive SEO Knowledge: A deep understanding of keyword research, on-page SEO, off-page SEO, and content marketing
- Technical SEO Proficiency: A strong grasp of technical SEO, including the ability to conduct website audits and prioritize tasks accordingly
- SEO migration: Extensive experience migrating website domains whilst maintaining traffic levels
- Industry Awareness: Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices to ensure creative strategies
- Effective Communication: Exceptional presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proven Success: A track record demonstrating impactful SEO strategies and customer satisfaction
- Time Management: Ability to balance customer needs by directing resources to higher-priority accounts
Responsibilities
- Establish regular touchpoints with customers to provide insight and explanation for the results delivered, ensuring expectations are managed and exceeded
- Influence the outcome of contract renewals for primary SEO customers
- Use the standardized SEO strategy and tailor it to each customerβs specific goals, industries, and target audiences
- Be aware of which accounts resources are being allocated to, whether thereβs undeserving or overservicing, and flag to the Head of Search Marketing where additional resources are needed
- Achieve a 100% customer satisfaction rate among new clients during the onboarding process, as assessed through post-onboarding surveys and feedback
- Build strong relationships with existing customers, thereby establishing yourself as an expert in the digital recruitment marketing landscape
- Regularly passing qualified opportunities to the Account Manager or Customer Success Manager
- Ensure all customers have a Scope of Work in place with planned deliverables for the upcoming quarter and beyond
- Improve collaboration and knowledge-sharing within the SEO team
- Collaborate seamlessly to enhance cross-functional service delivery for customers engaging in SEO, Content, and Digital Advertising, adopting a knowledge-sharing system that generates impactful customer insights
Preferred Qualifications
Google Analytics and SEO certifications are a valuable plus
