Requirements

• 1-3 years writing experience as a personal finance journalist or content marketing writer, preferably in a digital environment
• Experience writing about insurance and health care industries
• Strong analytical skills and experience using Excel or Google Sheets
• A proven ability to create clear and useful content for consumers and/or small businesses
• Familiarity and experience with SEO best practices, including SEO writing and keyword research
• Outstanding writing, editing and grammar skills and a strong commitment to accuracy and comprehensiveness
• Ability to receive and grow from constructive feedback
• Impeccable communication, time-management and organizational skills, including a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently, collaboratively and juggle multiple projects/tasks in a cross-disciplinary team and fast-paced environment

• Create outlines

• Refresh existing content on a range of insurance topics
• Evaluate and conduct research across multiple sources of key findings
• Create clear, concise content that reaches the first page of Google search results for the most-asked consumer insurance questions
• Capture and analyze data in Excel
