ServiceNow Requirements Test Engineer

Summary

Join BCMC as a ServiceNow Requirements/Test Engineer supporting an Agile ServiceNow program for DoD customers. This remote position requires experience with ServiceNow Automated Test Framework and a US citizenship for DoD Secret clearance eligibility. Core work hours are 7 am to 4 pm EST, Monday-Friday. Responsibilities include leading sessions to understand business processes, identifying system requirements, producing Agile stories, managing backlogs, collaborating with SMEs, executing test cases, working with developers and stakeholders, and creating documentation. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 5+ years of experience as a Test Engineer in an Agile development environment
• Have or ability to obtain a Security+ or equivalent Certification
• Experience with ServiceNow / Rest API integration including requirements gathering, test development, and management
• Experience with user story development and management in an Agile environment
• Experience with ServiceNow test management, test execution, and test script procedure development
• Experience with client-facing roles and ability to build rapport and trust
• Strong written and verbal skills
• Strong analytical/critical thinking skills
• Must be U.S. Citizen to be eligible for DoD Secret security clearance

Responsibilities

• Work with client representatives to lead sessions to understand Business Processes
• Identify future state system requirements at various levels of abstraction and detail to document future state process flows
• Produce Agile Stories documenting specific functionality needs, including descriptions, acceptance criteria and test approach
• Manage user story backlogs and prioritize according to the customer’s needs
• Support the Scrum Master on the sprint planning for each sprint release
• Collaborate with ServiceNow subject matter experts (SMEs) to understand the implementation details and scope of the project
• Execute test cases and track defects found during testing using ServiceNow
• Work closely with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to identify and prioritize test cases
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-up meetings, and sprint reviews
• Create and maintain documentation related to testing, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts using ServiceNow test management
• Work with developers, architects and testers to resolve defects
